THE COMPANY

Canute Realty Consulting is a full service real estate consulting and brokerage firm providing residential and commercial brokerage services, property management and residential appraisal services to discerning clients who require individualized service tailored to their specific requirements.

Our founder, Craig Canute, SRA has more than twenty-five years experience in residential and commercial real estate markets. He currently maintains brokers’ licenses in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Florida and Ohio and is a real estate instructor, certified ethics trainer and certified residential real estate appraiser in Virginia.


Mr.Canute began his real estate career working with lenders through the Resolution Trust Corporation handling distressed property construction, sales and marketing assignments.  Later he became Vice President and Director of Training for one of the largest residential real estate firms in South Florida and transitioned into commercial management, sales and leasing working with several of south Florida's largest developers.  Mr. Canute has taught several advanced courses in real estate investment analysis and property management and has been recognized for his achievements and leadership by South Florida’s Building and Office Management Association (BOMA.)

After moving to Northern Virginia in the mid 1990’s, Mr. Canute expanded Canute Realty Consulting, Inc., a firm he initially founded in Ohio and Florida specializing in residential, income and commercial property sales and management, to include operations in the metropolitan Washington DC area.
